Replacing the Whacker String

When the whacker string is shorter than about an inch (2.5 cm) it should be replaced.

To replace the whacker string hold the hub with the fingers of one hand then, holding the string near the hub with the other hand, push the string into the hub.  In difficult cases pliers might be needed.  Discard the old string. 

To install a new string, insert the string into the large hole in the hub, and pull the string until it seats firmly in the hub.

Please contact Franklin Robotics if you need additional whacker strings.  Do not use glue to hold the string in place.
